CONTROL ZONE

Hey Boomers!

Well, it’s a British summer alright – our offices got flooded last Tuesday! That didn’t stop us working though: my shiny body has water-proofing, allowing me to continue even when we’re officially part of a lake. Trying to get the humes to keep working led to a few accidents though. How was I supposed to know they needed oxygen?

It’s been a quiet few weeks since the last issue of STC-O… That’s precisely why we’re having a giant ravenous monster attacking in The Debt Collectors! It’s going to take everything that Sonic, Knuckles and the Chaotic Crew have to handle it. Over in his own strip, Knuckles and Tikal witness the horrifying power of Vichama unleashed in full and you won’t believe what’s going to happen! And back on Mobius, Don Long-Legs cries out a call of vengeance: Kill Big!

The Story So Far...

For years, the evil Doctor Robotnik ruled Planet Mobius. Eventually, Sonic and his Freedom Fighter gang defeated Robotnik and freed the planet. Now they fight to keep it safe from whatever might threaten it.

Sonic the Hedgehog

Sonic is the super-fast hero of Mobius, and leads a gang of freedom fighters. He is totally committed to keeping Mobius and its people safe.

The Chaotix Crew

Technology wizard Vector the Crocodile, super-strong Mighty, sneaky Espio the Chameleon and barmy Charmy Bee are Chaotix. They used to be the guardians of the bizarre Special Zone, until it was destroyed! Now they are stranded on Mobius and are trying to bring the Zone back.

Knuckles

Knuckles is the guardian of the Floating Island and its powerful Chaos Emeralds. He is willing to do whatever it takes to keep the Chaos Emeralds safe and discover the lost secrets of his people – even if it means unleashing forces he can’t comprehend?

Tikal

An echidna seer from the ancient past, Tikal’s spirit was made flesh in the present day. Her memories were repressed by a magic spell to stop her going mad, and premonitions of Vichama have been haunting her for weeks.

Vichama

The God of Death and a killer of planets in echidna mythology, he possessed an echidna and was imprisoned 8000 years ago. Now he’s loose and entire Zones are dead! His temple has appeared on the Floating Island, at the site where the ghosts of his ancient victims reside…

Big

A good-natured and dim-witted cat, Big lives a lazy and content existence wandering around looking for food & friends. He has an odd knack for getting himself involved in bizarre and dangerous situations!

The Family

They claim to be simple refugees that escaped the Special Zone’s destruction, but the insect Family are actually a powerful crime syndicate! Run by Don Long-Legs, they’re taking over Mobius’ underworld.

Harvestman

He’s worked as an assassin for the Family for a long time and is as sharply dressed as he is deadly accurate! He recently failed on a hit after he was caught speeding.
