CONTROL ZONE

Hey Boomers!

We’re back in action! Holding off on showing you the high-speed thrills we were producing was hard indeed, and convincing the Humes to do work instead of bothering with sleep was even harder. But it’s finally paid off as we loving give you brand new Sonic adventures, Sonic heroes and Sonic rushings!

Following on from last issue, Sonic and the Freedom Fighters are out to swat down the Insect Family – and considering the enforcer that stands in their way in Out Of Psyche, Out Of Mind, I wouldn’t like to bet on them succeeding! Meanwhile, there’s a special one-shot story for Knuckles. Ever since STC-O started, Knuckles has been through a lot and Solitary shows us where that’s left him. Then we’re off to the mean streets in the 2-part Tails chiller, In Cold Blood!

2006 may have been great at STC Online, but 2007 will be, as a wise droid once said, sharper than a cyber razor cut. Don’t miss it!

The Story So Far...

For years, the evil Doctor Robotnik ruled Planet Mobius. Eventually, Sonic and his Freedom Fighter gang defeated Robotnik and freed the planet. But now Mobius is in trouble again. The sinister insect gangsters known as The Family are causing trouble across the world, and Sonic’s name is being pulled through the mud by the media…

Sonic the Hedgehog

Sonic is the super-fast hero of Mobius, and leads a gang of freedom fighters. He is totally committed to keeping Planet Mobius and its people safe. He’s recently found himself being slandered by the media.

Tails

Tails is an optimistic young fox who uses his two tails to fly for short periods. Unbeknownst to him, Family agent Zip the Flea is hiding in his fur...

Amy Rose

Although Amy first met Sonic when she was claiming to be Sonic's girlfriend, she has since proved a hero in her own right with her trusty crossbow. She has a wicked sense of humour and loves winding Sonic up!

The Family

They claim to be simple refugees that escaped the Special Zone’s destruction, but the Insect Family is actually a powerful crime syndicate! Its members have many bizarre and terrifying powers. They've already planted Zip the Flea in Tails' fur!

Knuckles

Knuckles is the guardian of the Floating Island and its powerful Chaos Emeralds. He is willing to do whatever it takes to keep the Chaos Emeralds safe, and to find out about the past of his lost people. He recently sent the Chaos Emeralds to the Special Zone to keep them from the Syndicate – leading to events that saw the Zone destroyed…

Tikal

An echidna seer who from the ancient past, Tikal’s memories were repressed by a magic spell to stop her going mad. She recently had a terrifying vision of the Lake of Souls and the possible return of a murderous entity known as Vichama.

Porker Lewis

Although he was once the technological whiz of the Freedom Fighters, Porker lost his nerve after being held hostage on an alien planet for a month. He spends a lot of his time working on the Floating Island’s ancient computer systems.

Dr. Zachary

This malignant echidna has tried multiple times to claim the power of the Chaos Emeralds and destroy Mobius, and his latest attempt wiped out the Special Zone. He knows far more about the Floating Island’s secrets than Knuckles does. With the defeat of his Syndicate team, Zachary is now a prisoner of Knuckles.
